" So, I will cook another brown platter for the piranha army waiting for me at home tonight."
When I wrote that on my blog, I was asked, "What's a brown platter?
When I have my eldest daughter who can't see, I put out colorful dishes.
But only for my teenagers, I put out a menu full of brown dishes to fill their stomachs.
Steak, grilled meat, pork cutlets, dumplings, fried rice.
Of course, I make salads and vegetable garnishes, but the platter is dominated by "brown food.
At Christmas night, I grilled 20 chicken legs.
I thought they would last until lunch next day, but all meals consumed them in a flash.
In the first place, the appetizer plate was already empty when I tried to take photos.
Tonight, before I go to bed, I'll season the salmon I'll cook tomorrow.
After all, working moms don't get a winter vacation.
